Do you photograph the homes you work in?

No. Not for our website, not for social media, not for our own records. Most organisers build their marketing on before-and-after images; we have never published a single one, and we never will. It is the first thing we agree with every client, and it is not negotiable.

Is the work confidential?

Entirely. We do not name our clients, discuss their homes, or confirm that we work for them. Non-disclosure agreements are welcomed and signed as standard where a household requires one. Discretion is the condition of the work, not a feature of it.

How does an engagement begin?

With a private consultation at your home. We spend time understanding how the household actually runs — the routines, the pressure points, what has never quite worked. You then receive a written plan setting out what we would do, in what order, and over what timescale, together with a fee proposal. The consultation is chargeable and stands alone; commissioning the work that follows is a separate decision.

What is The Lived-In Method?

Our approach to designing order around how a household genuinely functions rather than imposing a template on it. Most organising is built for how a room should look; it comes apart the moment life resumes. We work the other way round — understanding the household first, then building systems that fit it. It was developed across nearly two decades inside London’s private homes.

Do I need to be there?

For the consultation, yes — that conversation is the foundation of everything that follows. For the work itself, only as much as you wish. Some clients want to be involved in every decision; others prefer to return to a finished house. Both work, provided we have agreed the principles in advance.
