The people behind The Lived-In Method
The Organising Pros is a home organisation consultancy working with private households across London.
We were founded on a single observation: most organising fails not because people lack discipline, but because the systems imposed on a home were never built around how that household actually runs. A house organised to look correct will come apart within weeks. A house organised around real life holds for years.
That principle became The Lived-In Method — our approach to designing order around the way a household genuinely functions, developed across nearly two decades inside London’s private homes. Every engagement begins with understanding before anything is changed.
Our clients are families, executives and private households whose homes must work under real pressure — travel, staff, children, demanding schedules. The work is quiet, meticulous and entirely confidential. No photographs, no exceptions.
“Order that has to be maintained isn’t order. It’s a chore you’ve agreed to.”
From the Founder
I have spent nearly twenty years inside other people’s homes.
I started in private London households in 2007, at the very bottom, and I stayed. Over the years I moved from the practical running of a home to managing one entirely — the systems, the staff, the travel, the hundred small decisions a day that keep a complex household from falling out of step. That is not something you learn on a course. You learn it by being there, early and late, for years, in homes where the standard is absolute and nobody thanks you for meeting it.
What I saw, again and again, was that the organising brought into these houses never lasted. It photographed well. It collapsed by the following month. It had been designed for the room rather than the people living in it — and the moment real life resumed, it came apart.
The Lived-In Method is my answer to that. It isn’t a system I invented at a desk. It’s what I watched work, repeatedly, across two decades of private households: understand how the home actually runs before you change a single thing in it, and build the order around that.
I founded The Organising Pros to hold that standard at a scale beyond what I could do alone. The principles haven’t moved. We listen before we act. We build for the life being lived, not for the photograph. And what happens inside a client’s home stays there — no images, no names, no exceptions.
I know what it takes to run a home at this level, because I have done it. That is what we bring.
